While
imagers have been successfully used
by Incodo on electrical and mechanical
equipment for programmed and preventative
maintenance our focus is on using
the technology to nondestructively
find leaks and thermal performance
issues in buildings
Our
view is that thermal imaging is a
methodology that enhances but does
not replace the skills of qualified
assessor /inpsector/surveyor persons.
Imaging results for leaks are only
qualitative - not quantitive and while
imaging is exceptionally useful we
are of the view that the information
is not evidential in isolation. It
assists qualified inspection consultants
to scan large and difficult access
areas quickly and efficiently
